Hirst’s design for her pyjama set is inspired by some of her father’s works in the 1960’s, using speech and think bubbles in cartoon imagery. Nicky’s ‘Z’s’ are rubber stamped in the original design with the extra bits of ink that can get transferred left included. Nicky hopes these ‘mistakes’ on her Pjoys design show vulnerability, acceptance and humour.
